Heat Waves Calls For chilling Out & Working On Projects & New Recipes

We had a heat wave today with heat index of 107 so me & the girlsπŸ•πŸ• laid low , starting out the morning making banana pancakes ,I had just one left & itd got too soft for my liking for eating but perfect for adding to the pancake batter

I got 4 more padded hangers made

Sadie pulled neighborhood watch duty while I sewed

She then decided piggy should join us

Molly "Sadie's" mom gave me a pack of hotdog buns , said she didn't want them to go bad & spinach ravioli πŸ€”what to do with these,Im not a fan of hot dogs  so what does Google say ?  I jad just enough spaghetti sauce  left, found a recipe for garlic bread & dinner was born

Since the ravioli is basically pasta this tasted like spinach lasagna, the bread called for soften butter minced or fresh garlic, parsley mixed & spread to the bread face side up ,bake @ 450 for 3-4 min then flip them over backing an additional 3-4 min,it turned out lightly crunchy & tasted like good ole buttery garlic bread, check out  the recipe here

Grace supervised while I worked on the green quilt yesterday ,having to undo a section on the bottom that receded while I explain  to her why she cant claim the bird quilt that Im working onπŸ˜„

They've both been content to stay home today, hanging out in the sewing room, watching movies, trying new recipes ,just chillin, rains in the forecast for tomorrow evening so we're going to get an early start for the park tomorrow
