What's Your Favorite Part Of A Quilt Finish?

 Is it the binding?, that last stitch? for me the vote leans toward that final stitch making it finally finished but the absolute favorite is when it comes outta the washer with all seams & stitches still in tact 🤣🤣

Trying to get the pink stitches to show up in the bright sunlight Grace decided to put her inspection skills to work counting the rows 🤣

I started quilting on this one seems like a year ago ,I know its been months lol,I don't recall the weight of the batting I used "Im getting better at keeping record of those things" but I do know its very airy & soft which could explain why it crinkled up so or maybe 🤔 it was the what seemed like hundred plus stitches🤣 I don't mind,I actually like it,it has a soft cuddly feel ,perfect for snuggling up on the couch

Its been so hot & rainy &it has  taken a toil on any type of gardening but there's a few things still hanging on,the butterfly bushes are happy

the heat took a toil on the zinnias but I moved what survived to different locations in the yard & so far they're starting to rebud& doing good,you can plant zinnias up through the Fall so I'll definitely give them another try 

a tiny baby bumblebee got down into the squash bloom & got so heavily covered in pollen he kept sliding back down,I thought I was going to pull him out😄

the cherry tomatoe plant has outgrown its cage & still climbing,Ill have to get it under control soon!

Its clouding up like it wants to rain again so this has turned into a stay in my pjs kind of day hanging out in the sewing room,watching old movies ,eating pizza but most definitely being productive at something!🤣
