Reconstructing Aprons & A Trip To The Nursery

A slow & easy beautiful day started off with a luscious deep blue bath with the new bath bombs I got from a farmers market vender, grilled cheese & coffee

The long lost aprons had no pattern layout no instructions 'their lost too'lol I tried to do this one from memory,I remember the ruffles went half up the back 🤷maybe somethings mussing ,it just wouldn't come together so I pulled out one Id made this past yr for eye judgement

I cut the dip out of the ruffle & sewed it back together

then auditioned the idea of adding wide creamy eyelet lace in-between the hem & the ruffle

The pumpkin one that's too narrow at the top is just shy of being wide enough compared to the grey apron so I'm open to two options, bias tape  or cut the pillow cover I found from last yr & make bias from it

This one is fine, just needs finishing sewing on the ties & the pocket

Now that I've resolved the problems of the lost aprons,I will be able to get them finished & hung in the kitchen sometime  tonight

Grace strutted her new collar to the nursery today

She luvs the nursery & after all the attention & petting she finally focused on helping me pick out a few mum's to get started transitioning the yard into Fall

I made the mistake of saying "park" so now I've got to take her for a quick walk before dark 🤣
