Four years into this little house & I'm still finding things 🤔 I'm guessing 10 if not more years ago when I was part of a quilting class at the local quilt shop after Terry passed away ,al the fabrics & instructions are still in tack & Im thinking I have all the pinwheel blocks completed & had just started on the flying geese blocks ,it will be a good one to pull out & complete come Spring
I have found that the scrap papper bins are best to keep projects together & in tack ,below was the makings of a Christmas table topper, everythings cut out, labeled & numbered ,a project perhaps for Christmas in July in the upcoming new year
Last night I started on some random Christmas projects ,todays the last day of meds & I'll be so glad to get outta this foggy feeling & get back to some serious sewing,I have Christmas quilts to make!😄
You have a nice system for keeping track of your UFOs. I never keep my notes with the pieces or if I do most of my "notes" are in my head. Can I remember all my thoughts about what colors go where and how many I need of what? No, I can't. I have to figure it out again. Lol
ReplyDeleteI've recently started keeping a sewing & quilting journal from quilt sizes, down to how many bobbins I used,it comes in handy when I want to make similar quilts ,all the maths already done😄
DeleteIt is always nice to run upon forgotten projects. I look forward to following your progress on these in the future.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a quilt worth finishing! Two lovely projects to look forward to next year. xx
