It's amazing how many different species of butterflies there are,I've been Googling info. & how they get their names ,the big brown one is a Silver Spotted Skipper,the tiny brown ones,I thought were babies lol turns out to be Fiery Skippers,the yellow is a Sleepy Orange sulphur ,the color & position of the dots etc.determin their names 🤔 seriously who decides these things,I wantta know🤣
Grace🐕 & me have our sweet Sadie with us this weekend,her fur parents are in New Orleans retiring from the Navy,it's been really to hot & humid to go much of anywhere but they're content to play in the backyard in the late evenings
I don't see much variety of butterflies here, monarchs, swallowtail and cabbage butterflies. There might be more when I'm not looking.
ReplyDeleteI had to Google cabbage butterflies lol I don't think I've ever noticed a white butterfly,how nest that would be to see one,I usually have to be at my sister's to see the big monarch ones
