Embrace The Moments

How did you bring in the New Year? , from PB chocolate dipped cookies, pizza,Mac & cheese ,a fun walk around the neighborhood & so much more, it's not so much of what you do but to EMBRACE, many of us will make new resolutions from making changes, doing more etc. all are good but be sure to take time to prioritize "you" & embrace the moments as they  come by for like a vapor once they're gone they're gone,which will you choose,missed opportunities or memories?

My  niece & nephew are always a joy & they sure keep me in my toes! Our weather has been bouncing from warm to chilly since Fall but it's actually bitter cold today but warming up to the 50's I think I'll brave the store& work on sewing projects 

Off To A Good Start

 If I ripped & redid the binding on this quilt I did it way to many times from making it bigger to sewing from the front to back,back to front & the final rip I just said forget it & rolled the backing to the front & sewed it down🤣

I'm not sure what it was about this one that drove me batty but it's done  lol playing around with Grace last night working on photo shoots 

RSC 2023 is finally finished Now to work on getting the 2024 RSC quilted as 2025 is here already! 😄

 This one may be next in line,it started out with scrappy orphan blocks  & just kept growing ,I want to at least get over half way finished with the 5 tops before starting another 🤔maybe just cut out a few new ones 😄

Angela has already posted the color for Jan. for the 2025 rainbow scrappy challenge "pink" I'm not sure how I will approach this years RSC  but I do know I won't start for the next month ,yes that means catching up lol I'm debating whether to do an overall scrappy of a quilt from the color of the month for example the month that calls for green I will work on making the tree of life quilt in greens, I've had my eye on this pattern for years lol

New Years Resolutions Yea or Nay

Oh how good would it be to be true lol

 I have way too many for that dream to come true lol but  I am determined to focuse on them for the next two months & start no new quilts till around Feb. I have 5 tops waiting to be quilted

#1 red & white star

 #2  scrappy started with orphan blocks

#3  lime green scrappy

#4  16 patch blocks with I spy sq's

#5 rustic  5" sq's

 

3 black skirts

I've had this dress cut it for a year I think it's time to just do it  lol

Just a to few quilt ideas on my bucket list 

for the new year,I really want to challenge myself beyond the square lol

There are other small projects laying about but I'm hopefully going into the new year with a plan!
