More tyrannical downpours today ,the back yard s starting to look like a pool😄so it was definitely a stay in day today,still working on ideas for scrap busting, "just get it done quilts" & "sew easy by Sandy" both have good ideas to sew scraps,crumbs etc.onto jellyroll strips or register paper,these can then be turned into scrappy blocks or use as scrappy binding,I made a few to see how'd they look
And though this is a great scrap buster it adds to the crumbs 🤣there really is no end to scraps is there?😄
I finished cutting out the straps,batting & lining for the bigger totes, there's a few more different styles I want to cut out later
It may be late Monday /Tuesday before I get to the tote bags , I'm meeting up with a friend to crochet,she's just learning & I'm relearning,I haven't crocheted since the 80's lol 👀that made me sound really old 🤣 so I prepped a bag for that too
Yarn that I've had forever to practice with,an assortment of needles gifted from a friend,been so long figured I'd better buy a how to book lol, gotta remember to throw a pair of scissors in there lol
