The weather was a little more bearable today but still hot,when it comes to the yard I have to work on it in shifts 😄 everybody decides to come out & see what I'm doing
I added a new bird bath to the backyard,the bird's aren't sure what to make of it yet,even Grace was like wow! That's a big butterfly!😄
I reshifted some of the flowers, ,added another layer of bricks around my veggies,the people that cut my grass can't seem to stay away from them with the weed eater🤷 painted an old chair pink
Do you have days when you feel not so pretty?🤣 when I first started seeing the cardinals looking like this I thought something was wrong with them 🤣 this is a young male cardinal whose full color hasn't come in yet,soon he will be a glorious vibrant red
I was hoping to get some herbs but they've all disappeared around here Lowes & Home Depot has Halloween & Fall out ,you cant even find a patio chair & what few there are is stacked up in a corner,I must of slept through Summer 😄 if I cant find what I'm looking for through the weekend I may just give up & pull the Fall decor out 🤣
You captured some really nice pictures of that pretty butterfly. Do you know what kind it is? I have not seen one like that around where I live.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, Helen! Sounds like there is a lot of hustle and bustle going on in your gardens. Your new birdbath is gorgeous and will be well used. Our garden centers no longer have herbs as well. I haven't checked the nurseries yet though. Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Gardening.
