Revisiting My Older Quilting/Sewing Books

Quilt #2 in the Bramble Blooms challenge calls for a vine floral border,I'd about forgotten that a lot of my older quilting books have lots & lots of applicade ,not only are there patterns for applicade quilts but quite a few can be incorporated into my slow stitching projects

I kept reading "full size patterns & thinking where?😄 as it doesn't tell what page the patterns on but they're all in the back with numbers 👀took me a min that you have to scan through & match the numbers on the pattern in the back to the tiny diagram

I luv my older sewing books , there's so much step by step detailed instructions from basic sewing tailoring a coat

I've had these since the 70's  step by step detail with illustrations from basic laying out patterns ,fabric guides, upholstery, home decor, designing your own patterns, alterations & so much more

Do you have a favorite sewing/ quilting book? now that I'm dabbling in embroidery I'm on the lookout for some detailed step by step embroidery stitch books
Not all my books are old as dirt🤣 a friend gave me 10 Missouri Star Quilt books, they are detailed with full pictures, instructions & full sized patterns
