finished up sewing ,cutting & trimming the strips down to 3" blocks they produced 55 blocks,I now have a total of 123 ,that's still nowhere near half way lol
before it was over with it dawned on me I could chain piece them ,sewing the 2 bottoms to each one then only having the top one to add
this go round with these little blocks I discovered if I put the ruler on the seam lining up the 1" on all 4 sides they come out the perfect 3"
Why do I have to be almost 100 in to figure this outš¤£but they're all trimmed & added to the bag
Even with solid blocks inbetween I think I still will need to make around 200 more plus the solids,which I haven't decided what color to use for the background ,I've seen a lot of tiny 9 patches on white backgrounds & a few reds,meanwhile I will work on cutting more strips within the next few days
Such tiny blocks so take time and more accuracy...but you will get there.
