Nearing the home stretch on Deliahs quilt,I stitched down each row then turned it & went the opposite direction & now down to the last row & it'll be ready for the binding which with this one I'm just going to bring the backing over the front
I luv rainy days but not so much when it brings thunder & striking lightning flashes, we're in for some straight line winds later tonight & more heavy rain, meanwhile since I spent most of the day in the sewing room I kept it simple & made a grilled chicken salad
Later I made ,I'll call them cupcakes ,the recipe is actually a mug cup recipe ,the first time upon making it it rose the size of a reg vegetable can lol now this is good if you wanted to slice it in rounds & add ice cream etc,the 2nd ground I decided it into 2 mugs & it was still huge🤔so round 3 I pulled out 4 small cups & decided the batter equally ,perfect! they come out just a tad taller than a cupcake
this is my go to recipe when my sweet tooth kicks in ,4 is plenty for me to carry me through a few days "if I can stay out of them"🤣today I decided to make icing & added some chocolate bark
CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

2 tbsp coco
1 beaten egg
3 tbsp.milk
vanilla
3 tbsp.oil

Blend dry ingredients, add wet ingredients, mix till smooth ,spray mug with cooking spray
*Sometimes I add chocolate to the batter & sometimes not they taste great either way,you can also chop up chocolate bark
SMALL BATCH CREAM ICING
