20 Blocks In But Still So Many To Go

 Once I get the same amount of filler blocks I think Ill be half way there lol

With the 20 today gives me a total of  149,for a full size I'll still need around 300 , I was cutting  1 1/2 long strips & sewing them in rows of 3 & cutting them in 3" strips

but I discovered they turn out more accurate if cut strips  in 1 1/2 x3's & sew together

Then cut those in half

Then construct the blocks 

more time consuming perhaps but I think I like it better that way,lunch was light with an egg salad club & sweet tea

 

The blocks measure out to 3" , I'm  undecided whether to lay them out on point or just a regular 9 patch layout, I've also pondered the thought if taking it & having it put on the long arm since there are sooooo many blocks & sooo tiny 😄 I don't think I want to quilt 400 blocks lol
