Things have slowed down "a little" lol I'm expecting the month of May to step up & be more productive for me lol
I find I get more stitching done while watching a movie when I take a break from cleaning 🤔maybe I need to watch more movies & less cleaning 🤣
I'm working on sorting scrap tote #2 this one has larger pieces anywhere from 1/2 yd to 1-2 yds & I'm sure there's some crumbs hiding in there
meanwhile tote#1 has been sorted into baggies of pieces that will produce anywhere from a 2," sq to a 3x5 strip etc. leftover binding strips,solids down to crumbs
,today I'm going through the medium size pieces & cutting 2 &1/2" & 5" sqs
scraps from these go into the scrap tote,I had at one time all scraps separated by color in 2 gallon baggies but they outgrew them
I never thought I'd say I'm tired of these scraps 🤣 some go far further than I can remember ,I've seen scrap busting videos & Im leaning towards one by "Just Get It Done Quilts" 🤔 I think the strips sre 3x5 , 3 quilts uding the same size strip 3 different ways , I'll get the strips cut but as far as making them they'll have to be part of the bucket list lol
so for now I'll see how far I get with 2 & 1/2" & 5" blocks & stitch on the lime green quilt throughout the day
