The Importance Of Prep Work

 I know this way to well yet here I am here in a mess 😄it was going so well with getting the flamingo tote ready for quilting 

Now I knew that I needed to find an additional fabric to add between the print& the  batting when I cut everything out a few days ago,any print or sheet for that matter as it wouldn't be seen because they'd be a linning later ,even wrote it down in my notebook 🤣. all quilted & working on the straps

 I'm in the homestretch now so I thought🤣 can you guess what I did? I quilted the bottom panel front & back together & still didn't catch my mistake till I did it again on the top piece🤣

What did I learn? cut out everything ,leave nothing for later😄 thankfully I have enough flamingo fabric to cut another piece ,I will save all this unpicking for a rainy day🤣 while its on my mind I'd better go cut the extra piece for the peacock tote so there's not a repeat 🤣
