The light causes the deep pink squares & borders to look red ,I will work on getting it batted🤔is that a word 🤣 & backed between today & tomorrow
fabric for the backing has a beautiful feathery look, it will also be my border choice
Hobby Lobby now carries a new ultra light weight batting,usually most battings are too puffy for my liking & I separate it getting 2 quilts out of it lol so I think I will like this one as I like a lighter weight quilt for Spring & Summer & a heavier weight for winter
The baby birds have hatched! I know my plant is happy for it has been thirsty for water for quite a while🤣
Congratulations on the finish of your flimsy. Very pretty! Thanks for sharing the info on the batting...good to know there is a light weight batting. The baby birds are precious.
ReplyDeleteGood job! Your quilt top turned out so nice! I really like your choice of backing material. I , also, favor thin quilts. I didn't know that thick batting could be split in half. I may have to look into doing that.
