Recreating Aunt Annibells Quilt Block

 The block is so fragile that I didn't want to risk causing it not being able to be sewn back together so I measured best I could from seam to seam

no fancy light box so it was old school tapeing it to the window & placing tissue paper over it

the triangle corners seem to be different sizes  6" & 7'' but that could be from being tattered but when I placed them on the 12" ruler they fit 🤷 

so I proceeded to make a sample block

so far it seemed like it was still measuring out to a 12"

now lets see it together & see what we have

It was just a touch uneven & after trimming it came out 11"X 11" which is fine but I think I tweak it 🤷maybe all 4 corners are supposed to be the same size,may it was an 8" square? Oh well Im closer than I dreamed I would get to recreating her block
