If I had to give an account for January,I'd have to asked to decline 🤣 I can just hear the judge say, you had 31 days, show me what you did👀 well I.... & I ......🤣 sad as it is, I did do something lol I revived the little house quilt from the scrap bin & totally redid it
for January green was the color for RSC (rainbow scrappy challenge ) I'm going with 12" blocks this year,I think I may make one more green
I finished the last book, Sweet Tomorrow's, in Debbie McCombers Cedar Cove series, this is a series that you hate to see end
for no apparent reason I started making scrappy blocks ,I guess it's the UFO syndrome sneaking in as it may or may not turn into a quilt before the years out lol
and before January could slip away I went & joined another sew along ,tiny blocks at that! 10 tiny blocks a week, 🙆
January may seem a little on the skimpy side for sewing but with all the little& big alike, nieces & nephews birthdays, beauty parents, baby showers,I think it turned out ok
February already is off to a good start,a very small start but a start🤣 for my slow stitching party tomorrow I'm making the girls a pincushion & a small design board ,I think it's around 11x14 I'll get the measurements when things settle down,I'm working on the supply table & the buffet table,a few more odd & ends to pull together today
for the buffet there will be ranch chicken wraps ,bar-b-q sliders,chips/dip, cake slices, Valentine candy bark & punch
You are all invited!🎉 see you tomorrow!😄
I think you still got a fair bit done...glad you rescued the house quilt. If we always waited til we could do it perfectly - a lot wouldn't happen! Just go for it.
