Saturday was rainy & bitter cold so what better place to be than in the sewing room,a few weeks back I decided to make the quilt a little bigger,I didn't have enough of the deep purple to replace it back for the backing so I used it for the borders
The border was just what it needed ,the rich purple makes the bright fun prints just pop with color, naturally I had to add to the lining ,just enough scraps from the original to make it work
A purple dotted print is the new backing for this quilt
Final stages of getting all the layers pinned together, I will finish this step this evening & begin quilting on it throughout the week
I love to enjoy a good meal out once in awhile but it's so much better to eat good at home & know that it's good! grilled chicken seasoned with garlic, broccoli seared & seasoned with garlic & butter, spaghetti noodles cooked,drained & seasoned with butter & garlic tossed in Alfredo sauce makes the best chicken Alfredo
Later I tried a recipe for chocolate milk, it was actually quite good & only takes a few ingredients
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp.powdered milk
1/2 tsp.van.
Blend about 30 seconds in a blender ,it will be a little foamy, if you save it to drink later,it will separate,just stir it😁 I found by the time I got to the 2nd glass it wasn't quite as foamy
