Hints Of Fall Sewing

 Welcome September! Do you have new plans for September? New adventures? New challenges?

My first attempt at a rag quilt a few years ago was ok as long as you didn't look too closely 😄 the batting was too large & oozing out the edges,Im attempting to revamp it one block at a time

Triming them down from 7" to 6 1/2"

Triming the batting down to  5 1/2"

This will be one of those hit it with lick & a promise projects 😄 

The panel top is getting a second border

I got 5 quarts off the peaches yesterday I like the light syrup ratio which is 3 parts water(3 c.) to 1 part sugar(1 c.) 

Speaking of new projets ,I totally forgot that the advance watercolor classes starts tomorrow, they are offered throughout the year but Sept is best for me as Oct.--Dec. classes  are stretched out due to all the holidays in-between but they may be filled up so I may or may not embark on that journey just yet lol meanwhile I'll be in the sewing room😄
