Its 5 O'clock Somewhere!

The phrase its 5 O'clock somewhere holds different meanings for different people , how's your 5'oclock.looking?

Where does this English tradition come from?

The custom of Tea Time originated at the end of the 19th century when the Duchess of Bedford, Anna Maria, decided to establish a convivial moment with her friends towards the end of the afternoon to chat while nibbling on some snacks. Indeed, the Duchess considered that the time between lunch and dinner was too long, so Afternoon Tea is consider like the third meal of the day.

Finally, the tradition has survived and even if this special occasion is less present today than it was in the past, Tea Time remains in the customs of many of our English neighbors.

Can we have tea immediately after meal or team it with breakfast?

"Since tea contains caffeine, which can increase our energy and also supports the digestive system, for most people, their energy tends to be lower after meals and in the morning. Based on that, it makes sense to drink tea right after a meal during the day. Tea contains tannic acid and reacts with the protein and iron content in the food. As a result, it prevents the absorption of these components. So, it is recommended doing so about fifteen to twenty minutes after a meal

I did not know this about herbal teas ,did you? If its on the Internet its got to be true, right?🤣
