When It's Time To Walk Away

 I know its a little early to walk away seeings I just got started good this morning 🤣 first on the agenda since my friend Ree got my Brother machine straightened out I decided I'd use it 🙆it bit a hole in me!😄

So after I addressed this with ointment & 🩹 bandaid,I was on a good roll sewing strips together to make the inbetween blocks,the more I looked at the layout something seemed  off but I kept going

As I'm trying to decide which way i like the in-between blocks flipped there it was!👀 the darker wasn't cranberry at all but brown with teeny tiny leaves, this goes with a Fall panel & other fabrics I'd bought for a Fall quilt ,plus they were cut too wide 

🙆where was my pretty pink?

Then I noticed there was only one yard which means if I choose for the blocks to be flipped with the pink on top I'll need more,but its been almost a month ,will they have more?🤷

with this layout the pink becomes the background & border like the top pictures with the wrong color 😄

I will get them all cut before sewing any together,once the strips are sewn to the bird blocks I cant flip them,it will turn the birds upside down😄

Lawd have mercy what a morning!😄 so Im going to walk away & ponder the situation over a little ice cream🤣 then first things first go the the fabric shop for more pink fabric
